Just Diggin’ offers a wide range of services from tree removal, lot clearing/preparation, grading, driveway prep, approaches and landscaping, to excavation work for basements, septic systems, power and water lines.   This allows our customers to save money by avoiding the high costs of mobilizing equipment from multiple contractors.

Just Diggin’ originally started as a spin off of Jason and Denice's landscaping company 'JD Landscape Services' in 2006.  It was a natural progression, as they themselves were settling into their own rural property just minutes north of Mayerthorpe.  As they developed their raw quarter section of land, starting everything from scratch, it became a labor of love and seemed a natural extension to their existing family owned business. Jason has over 18 years experience operating heavy equipment; including everything from forestry, logging, residential subdivisions, pipelining, and oil lease construction.  His experience combined with attention to detail has made him exceptional at what he does. Denice is Just Diggin's Operation Manager, taking care of scheduling, septic design, and most important customer satisfaction. Our Service Area is based out of Mayerthorpe and includes:  Whitecourt, Barrhead, Westlock, Drayton Valley, Edson, Alberta Beach, Onoway, Stony Plain and Spruce Grove.  However, we do find ourselves in other areas like Fort McMurray, Slave Lake and Athabasca, so please contact us directly to see if we can help you in your area. Their current equipment line-up consists of a 2008 Hitachi 200LC Excavator (Track Hoe) and a 2004 John Deere 250 Skidsteer.  Both pieces of equipment are newer models of machinery, effectively minimizing down time for repairs.  Returning to our roots, we are pleased to announce for the 2011 season, the addition of our Turbo-Turf HS-300 Hydro-Seeder.  From start to finish, we can now offer a complete service for our customers that can take a project from dirt to lawn in both a timely and economical fashion.
